Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data PlaceReveal ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use PlaceReveal (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

PlaceReveal is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Artem Moshkin, registered in Georgia under identification number 104632961, with a registered address at 49 Besarion Zhgenti Street, Tbilisi 0144, Georgia. We are the business responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at [email protected] with any privacy questions or requests.

2. What data we collect

Account data: name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form) when you create an account.

Payment data: we do not store or have access to your full payment card details. Purchases are sold and processed by Creem, which acts as our merchant of record and seller of record. Creem collects and stores payment and billing information directly, as its own controller and under its own privacy policy, and passes us only what we need to fulfil the order (such as your email address, the pack purchased, and your billing location for tax purposes).

Uploaded content: photos of your home and any associated metadata that you upload for processing.

Usage data: log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and actions taken within the Service, collected automatically through standard analytics tooling.

Communications: any messages you send us via support channels or email.

3. How we use uploaded images

Uploaded images are processed by our Service and by third-party AI model providers in order to generate the Outputs you request (such as design previews, staging, or renovation renders).

Model training: we do not train AI models on your images. Uploaded images and the Outputs generated from them are used solely to deliver the results you asked for, and are never used to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve our own models or those of any third party. Our AI providers are engaged under terms that prohibit them from using content submitted through our account for training.

We do not sell your uploaded images or personal data to third parties.

4. How we use personal data

We use personal data to provide the Service you signed up for, to maintain, secure, and improve the Service, to communicate with you about your account and purchases, and to comply with applicable law (such as records related to payments).

5. Who we share data with

We share data with the following categories of third parties, only as necessary to operate the Service:

  • Cloud hosting and storage providers, who store uploaded images and account data on our behalf.
  • AI inference providers. We use fal.ai to run image generation. fal.ai in turn routes requests to underlying model providers, which currently include Google and OpenAI. These providers process your uploaded images only to return the Output, and not for training (see section 3).
  • Creem, our merchant of record, for payment processing, invoicing, and tax compliance.
  • Analytics providers, for understanding aggregate usage of the Service.
  • Authorities, where required by law.

6. Where your data is processed

We are established in Georgia, and the providers described in section 5 operate internationally, including in the United States. Your personal data and your uploaded images may therefore be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate, not only your own country of residence. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your data securely.

7. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded images and generated Outputs are retained for as long as needed to provide the Service to you, or until you delete them or close your account, after which they are deleted within a reasonable period. We may retain limited data longer where required for legal or accounting purposes.

8. Your privacy rights

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and request a portable copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion of your personal information; request correction of inaccurate personal information; and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Residents of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) have similar rights under those laws; contact us and we will honor applicable requests.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, essential functionality, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out-of-sale/sharing preference where applicable.

11. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Account holders must also be at least 18 (see our Terms of Service).

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date, and where changes are material, we will provide additional notice (such as by email).
